This was a really great place to stay in Symi, the owner is super friendly and helpful, the location is great two mins from main street but a set back a bit and secluded. Beautiful room with a view - no hesitation in recommending ‘Thea’ as an ideal place in Symi. Exceptionally clean. A very well stocked fridge with lots of snacks, variety of drinks and even a bottle of wine. This was a lovely surprise. Very helpful staff who cannot do enough for you. Comfortable bed with gorgeous bedding. Balcony view is perfect for relaxing.

Outstanding stay in breathtaking Symi with a thoughtful host.
Our stay at Thea was incredible. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and so well thought out and equipped for all our needs and more. The scenery is of course breathtaking and the view from the balcony was so beautiful. Panogiotis, our host, could not have been more accommodating or attentive. He did far more than any other host has ever done in our experience and went above and beyond to take care of us and make our stay truly memorable and special. His knowledge of the island and where to visit were wonderful and he was so giving with his time. He saved our bacon when we would have missed the ferry back as well! The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the little touches left in the kitchenette were lovely. We could not recommend this place more and will be back!

Thea, an absolute gem!
I've been vacationing on the Greek Islands since the mid-1970s. Thea ranks among the best for this type of accommodation. The owner, Panos is a really superb host who provides just about everything required to make breakfast or snacks to your liking. When I next visit Symi there's only one place that I'm staying.

Stunning harbour view and kind host!
The view and location were divine. The accommodation was a short walk to great restaurants and the view from the balcony in the evening was spectacular. Most people journey to Symi for a day and we felt privileged to have stayed overnight, it was a great decision and the accommodation was lovely. The bathroom was also spacious and luxurious. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Panos made everything fabulous -fully stocked fridge & lovely breakfast and lots of lovely extras. Property is cleaned everyday and left spotless, with fridge refilled, fab location views across the harbour from our balcony and easy to walk to all the restaurants, he couldn’t do enough for us booking restaurants, advice ,also collected us from the ferry and took us back such excellent service.

A home away from home!
We have travelled quite a lot and Thea was one of our favourite (likely the number one) accommodation places. We are (have to admit) quite picky with the cleaning and we thought it was perfect. In many hotels you can tell it’s apparently clean but not really properly clean and hygienic. Thea felt like it was cleaned the way you would clean at home. Also the little details made a difference. It had all a guest would need in a hotel room. Bathroom with plenty of towels rails and hooks (that many hotels lack and it’s very convenient and practical), little blackout curtains for the small windows on the door, enough space on the closet/drawers, iron and board, sleepers, even a little sponge to clean your shoes… A table to have breakfast on the balcony bit also another little table inside in case the weather is not good or to work, read, write… Comfortable beds, linen… Practical little kitchen office (no stove) with fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Stocked daily with food for breakfast. We felt it was managed with love, all the kitchen utensils and tableware you may need for breakfast or snacks (but very well thought, not like many apartments where there are useless utensils and then basic ones missing), eggs already boiled in the fridge, homemade cookies, all the basics you can need for breakfast and even water bottles provided daily. The location is perfect (if you can climb up some stairs, which is almost mandatory to explore Symi), awesome views almost first line on the harbour, looking to the other side and the colourful little houses. Both sides are extremely pretty ao we couldn’t choose. Panos was very kind and helpful and made our stay feel more personal and human, not the typical hotel room. Thanks Panos! It was very nice to meet you! Symi is one of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen. We will always remember it and we hope we can come back and stay longer :) All the best, Panos! A very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
I liked everything about the room. The decoration and layout is really good, lots of snacks, drinks and other treats available. The balcony and view of the harbour is perfect. Close to shops, bars, restaurants. Room cleaned and restocked with food and drinks everyday. Panos is a very good host, I'm sure if he was able to do so he would meet you outside your own home and transport you to Thea himself. Panos and his family run a lovely guesthouse in Symi; one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

Spectacular stay in a gorgeous little hotel!
My friend and I stayed in Thea for two nights and we wished we would have stayed for longer. It was the loveliest place during our long trip in Rhodes. When we arrived we were greeted by Panos who picked up our luggage from the port and gave us recommendations for our stay. The room itself is beautiful, it has a everything you may need, including toiletries and a stocked fridge for breakfast. The location was perfect, just at the port. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Symi if you’re after an exceptional stay.

The scenic perfect stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Thea. Panagiotis, the owner, was very friendly, welcoming, and the perfect host. He even somehow managed to balance our excessively large suitcases on his scooter and bring them to the ferry for us, insisting that we make the most of the last hour on the island. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and at sunset soaking up the view. The breakfast provided in the room was an added bonus and there were just lots of thoughtful details about our stay that we really appreciated. Thank you so much and we hope to come back soon!

Luxurious and relaxing stay!!
We absolutely loved our stay at Thêa - Panos is a wonderful host, very attentive and very kindly met us at the ferry after a long day of travelling to Symi to take us to the hotel and help with our bags. He is always around in the mornings happy to chat, full of useful recommendations for the island and also helped us with reservations for a few hard to secure restaurants.
The room was lovely and spacious, and the view from the balcony just BEAUTIFUL overlooking the whole port. Highly recommend taking breakfast out there in the morning and also watching the sunset; you will never tire of it. Room was above and beyond with amenities, and even included complimentary breakfast supplies and snacks, and wine. It was also cleaned every day and came with complimentary beach towels which is very useful when you're travelling light on luggage!
The whole experience was exceptional - quite honestly one of the best places I've stayed and I would go back in a heartbeat. I can still see the view from the balcony when I close my eyes!

AMAZING stay at Thea!
Difficult to know where to start to adequately express how much we enjoyed both our visit to Symi and our stay at the beautiful Thea Apartments!! Being met off our ferry by owner and manager Panos, was most welcome. He helped with bags and took us around to the Apartments. The location of Thea is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Port. The view from the balconies are amazing, over looking the yachts and the stunning architecture of the Symian houses. The apartments at Thea are elegantly decorated and have extremely comfy beds (a difficult find in Greece!). The bathroom was spacious with a luxurious feel. Lovely toiletries, towels etc. The apartment was absolutely spotless and was cleaned daily by their fantastic housekeeper.. so nice to come back to after a day out visiting one of the many great beaches. Breakfast is not technically included but then actually, it is! The fridge was equipped with water, milk, orange juice, jams, butter, Greek yogurt, honey, bread, boiled eggs.. all of which were replaced daily/as and when needed. Also there were sweet and savour snacks and cereal, tea, coffee also supplied .. oh and a complimentary bottle of wine!!! All of the above enjoyed daily on your balcony whilst soaking in that super view! Think I’ve said enough!! Highly recommended and worth every penny!!

Everything about this place is outstanding. The decor is amazing, so beautifully done, the personal touches, the cleanliness, nothing was to much trouble for them whatever you asked. It was just a lovely place to stay! It was like a ‘carte postale’. Lovely!
Everything was great! A very clean property with very courteous staff. It has a traditional exterior and a great interior decor. It has lovely views and is located only a few steps away from the marina.
Restaurants, cafes and bars are less than 2 minutes away but despite being so close to a lively neighbourhood, the property inside is very peaceful and quite. The fridge was well stocked with milk, water and juice. There were also plenty of sweet and savoury snacks, various teas and coffees, jams, spreads, toasts, eggs etc. More or less anything you’ll need to prepare a nice breakfast and have some snacks throughout the day.
The bathroom was spotless with a great selection of toiletries including sisals and toothpaste, and everything else you’d expect from a luxury apartment. It is a great place!

Perfect place to stay on a visit to beautiful
Symi. A few steps away from the most idyllic harbour in Greece with the perfect view from your balcony. The host, Panos, was so helpful even connecting on WhatsApp for instant advice. Our room was advertised as “no breakfast” but the fridge was full of everything we needed and home baking delivered each day. The sun sets shining onto the balconies so perfect for a glass of wine. Perfect in every way!

It was simply perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. Best place to stay in Symi without a doubt. We will come back for sure. Panos was so friendly and able to provide excellent advice on what to do and see, which boat to get the beaches etc. Lots of thoughtful additions to the apartment such as toaster, complimentary bread and snacks etc to prepare breakfast on the balcony. We were supplied with delicious cinnamon buns every morning, coffee, snacks, all you could need. We liked everything about this hotel, have payed a lot more for a lot less. Perfect location, we had a room with a balcony that had an absolutely stunning view of the town and harbour. The room itself was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Panos collected us from the ferry, carried the baggage and showed us around the town, excellent service. The room itself was quite small but with the mezzanine floor with two extra beds we had ample room. We only stayed two nights but the bedding gave us the best nights sleep we had on our holiday! Some people might find the short climb of stairs a problem, but this is Symi, it's built on a hill, if you have a problem with steps, book someplace on the harbour front; but you will be missing out on one anazing view in a class boutique apartment.

Everything about this place was first class. At the Thea every fine detail for your comfort has been thought of. Also even though room only the goodies for breakfast in the fridge that are replenished every day mean it as good as bed and breakfast.

We were picked up by the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. He carried all our bags up the steps to the house where our apartment was on the top floor with the most stunning views over the harbour. The room was very tastefully decorated and spotless. We had a room with our teenage kids and all agreed it was excellent value for the price and very comfortable. We are used to staying in top hotels round the world and this compared highly with many of them.

Amazing apartment - amazing place! They cant do enough for you. All brand new furniture/interior. Wine and juice waiting on your arrival - the views are unreal. You need to be able to walk up and down steps to visit the island.

This place is a must to visit. The location, the views, the accommodation. We only stayed one night but really wish it could have been 4 or 5. Panos was really fantastic, the fridge was stocked with stuff for breakfast and a free bottle of wine. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Everything was brilliant. We stayed in the attic apartment and it was fantastic. one of the best views of symi. we were given water, milk and wine. balcony was perfect.location is on the harbor. the owner is a lovely guy who showed us round and told us about the places to stay. if...no...when i come back to Symi, it will be here. thanks for everything!

Design ..especially the bathrooms.. Views..locality..comfortable beds. There was water, tea, coffee, toast, jams, butter, fruit juice in fridge..all included. Excellent place to stay! Will be going back in September, if it is available.
